Honoring Good Karma

The Karma Institute was formed in honor of Mark's mother, Karma Jean Cullimore Hughes, who is a living embodiment of the basic principles of Living Good Karma. We are not a religious organization nor do we adhere to a core belief from one philosophy.  The foundation of The Karma Insitute is embrace honorable principles, to do good deeds for the benefit of all, thereby creating a Conscious Planet.

The Key to Positive Change is Living Good Karma.  By listening to our inner guidance, we align with our Authentic Self. When we Act authentically, we live Good Karma.

We promote this philosophy by offering personal experiences that encourage personal growth and greater awareness. We do this with one and two day workshops and 3-21 day Authentic Ventures at retreat centers and designated locations in areas around the world. 

Our Legal Status and Relationship with The Karma Institute Foundation

The Karma Institute is registered as a Limited Liability Corporation in the State of Oregon. Ten to wenty percent of all of our fees for products and services are directed to The Karma Institute Foundation, a project of United Charitable Programs, a registered 501(c) (3) public charity. This portion of your fee is considered a donation and is tax-deductible as allowed by law.  All funds raised by The Karma Institute Foundation are received by United Charitable Programs and become the sole property of UCP which, for internal operating purposes, allocates the funds to the Project. The Program Manager makes recommendations for disbursements to charities and Non-Profit organizations that demonstrate honorabe principles which are reviewed by UCP for approval.  

Karma Partners and Instructors

We invite individuals, organizations and companies that demonstrate honorable principles to become a Karma Partner and collaborate with us on projects that we share a mutual interest.  In addition, some of Karma Partners have certain skills and talents as facilitators or instructors in given fields of interest.  These Karma Partners are invited to join our Faculty and offer workshops and seminars.

 Our Four Guiding Principles:

With each and every event we offer, we embrace at least one of the four guiding principles of The Karma Institute to influence the content of the experience. We believe that by incorporating these Principles in your life, you will be guided to your Authentic Journey which will, in turn, lead you toward Creating a Conscious Planet:
